Note: This article uses the acronym “UGC” (user-generated content) to refer to any player-made creations in Forza Horizon 6, including but not limited to: liveries, tuning setups, photos, Garages, etc.
Q: What is my Creative Hub rank?
A: Your Creative Hub rank is a measurement of the popularity of your published UGC in each of the following categories:
- Prop Prefabs
- Events (EventLab)
- Tunes
- Garage Layouts
- Community Challenges
- Liveries
- Estate
- Photos
- Vinyl Groups
All players start at rank 1, even if they haven’t published any UGC yet.
The total number of downloads and “likes” you receive over time increases your Creative Hub rank for the respective category (e.g. if you publish tuning setups, and other players interact with them, your Tunes rank will increase).
Additionally, when other players download and/or “like” your published UGC, you receive a payout in Credits (CR) from the Horizon Festival, which can be claimed from your in-game Message Center. Multiple payouts from the same type of UGC are combined into one message per play session per 24 hours. Although these payout messages don’t expire, we recommend regularly claiming your CR payouts, to avoid any slowdown caused by the accumulation of many unopened messages.
Q: Is there a daily cap for payouts I can receive from my published UGC?
A: There is a daily cap, but as we do not encourage players to create intentionally “low-effort”/spammy UGC, we do not share information about how UGC payouts are calculated.
On a related note, we do recommend that you regularly claim any credit payouts available in your Message Center; deliberately letting them accumulate, uncollected, for a long period of time can create delays in receiving any and all types of in-game messages.
Q: How do I increase my Creative Hub rank?
A: To discourage abuse/manipulation of the Creative Hub rankings, we do not share information about how Creative Hub ranks are calculated.
Q: Is there a gameplay advantage to having a high rank in my Creative Hub?
A: Any time you sell a car that is equipped with a tune and/or livery you have also created, you are eligible for bonus CR based on your Creative Hub ranking(s) in the Tunes and/or Liveries categories.
NOTE: the bonus CR available is determined at the time you set the minimum bid and buyout amounts as you are creating your Auction House listing.
The ranks are converted into bonuses, as follows:

Example: If you are Rank 10 in Liveries and Rank 20 in Tunes, and you are creating an Auction House sale with a car equipped with your own livery design and tuning setup, while you are creating the sale you will be able to set the minimum bid amount *and* the buyout amount for up to 300,000 CR more than the default minimum amount.
Q: How many tunes and liveries can I share?
A: While there is no limit to how many tunes or liveries you can publish, there is a limit to how many tunes and liveries can be locally stored to the cars in any player’s Garage. If you encounter an error message saying that a tuning setup or livery design cannot be applied, try removing a previously downloaded item from “My Tuning Setups" or "My Designs" (accessible from the Garage).
Q: Something I published isn’t visible in my Creative Hub and/or the share code doesn’t work anymore. Did it get deleted?
A: Occasionally, published UGC is temporarily hidden from certain areas of the game while undergoing moderation review. Any downloads or “likes” earned during this time will still appear in your CR payout messages, but the share code will not be functioning as intended.
- If the UGC successfully passes the moderation review, the UGC will reappear publicly on your Creative Hub and be searchable by share code (using the previously established share code created for it. The UGC will also retain its usage stats from the previous period.
- If the UGC does not pass the moderation review, it will be un-published and only be available to you privately, as a local file on your gaming device.
- You will receive a notification in your Message Center indicating if the UGC violated the Forza Code of Conduct. and if there is any enforcement action being taken.
- Note: Players who falsely report UGC for a Code of Conduct infraction will have their future reports flagged for unreliability, and they risk receiving enforcement action on their account.
Q: I tried to follow a player’s Creative Hub and got the message “Failed to follow content creator. Please try again.”
A: You can follow a maximum of 100 players’ Creative Hubs.
