THIS IS CRITICAL: Before you play Forza Horizon 6, ensure you have the latest drivers and firmware for your wheel. Your wheel may work great with games that came out 1 or 2 years ago, even Forza games – that doesn't mean it'll work with a new game. This is not limited to PC users: If you are playing on Xbox Series X|S, you should also make sure your drivers and firmware are up to date by connecting your wheel to a PC or laptop and downloading the latest drivers and firmware for your wheel from the manufacturer’s website.
Please note that many wheel models have separate Xbox/PC and PlayStation/PC versions. Xbox-specific versions are not guaranteed to be compatible with PlayStation and vice versa.
(In the tables below, an asterisk mark * indicates partial support is currently available. This may mean, for example, that Force Feedback is functional but button mappings are not present.)
Logitech
For Logitech G29 and G920 users, you will need to install the latest version of Logitech G Hub. If you don't, the wheel will not function as intended.

Fanatec
Because Fanatec offers a wide range of modular wheel components, it is difficult to list out every possible combination and their respective platform compatibilities. Please see the following article for more information: Platform Compatibility | FANATEC
Before using your Fanatec wheel, please install the relevant Fanatec drivers for each product from their website and update the firmware manually by following their provided instructions.

Multi-USB Support, Missing Force Feedback, and USB Hubs
While multi-USB is supported in Forza Horizon 6, the game supplies force feedback to the device registered as "Device 1" in-game. If you've plugged in your wheel and are not getting any force feedback, another device like a shifter, pedal, or other controllers may be registered as Device 1 instead. To ensure your wheelbase is registered correctly, turn off or unplug other control devices and plug your wheelbase directly into your PC (not through a USB hub). You can confirm that your wheelbase is set up correctly by testing the "Steering" input under Advanced Controls > Wheel > Custom Profile.
You will need to create a custom wheel profile within the game if you are using multiple devices or have their devices plugged into separate USB ports. The game will not automatically map them unless they are connected directly to the wheelbase. If you use multiple devices with separate USB ports, the game may not automatically recognize them or acknowledge only one (a wheel but not pedals, for example).
We recommend that you don't use USB hubs. Instead, use dedicated USB 3.0 ports on your PC. Avoid unplugging and plugging back in your wheel to USB 3.0 ports. When this happens, some wheels have been known to generate an erroneous VIDPID (Vendor ID, Product ID for USB devices). For your wheel to work correctly with the game, it must have the correct VIDPID associated with it.
